First to hit the road will be a reworked version of the popular TF roadster, due to be launched in mid-2007. Next will be a hard-top version called the TF GT, as well as three family cars based on reworked versions of the Rover 25 and 75 platforms.

The 31-year-old Englishman, dropped by front-line outfit Ganassi in 2005, has landed a deal with the team owned by Indy legend AJ Foyt for 2007. “Next year will be big for us,” said Foyt. “We are determined to improve our programme and hire a driver with circuit and oval experience. Darren fits the bill. He runs hard, and wants to win as much as I do.”
