He"s well aware that if he doesn"t stop getting nicked for speeding, he could soon face a driving ban which would rob him of his much loved Italian sports car. It"s put to him by a marvellously mischievous Jeremy Clarkson on TV that because he"s got such a shameful driving record, he simply can"t afford to receive any more endorsements and he might therefore like to consider blaming his wife for his driving-related crimes by conveniently "shovelling" some points on to her currently clean licence.

This is how a family-sized...

This is how a family-sized hybrid passenger car could look if Italian styling house Torino Design gets its way. The model, called the A-HEV (Automobile-Hybrid Electric Vehicle), was unveiled at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China by local firm Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC), and it combines a muscular shape with a minimalist interior and extensive use of glass.

Here"s what might happen when the Fiat and Chrysler design teams finally get round the same drawing board.

Mixing Italian style and flair with US muscle car and pick-up heritage, itò€™s an all-new take on what a Fiat performance utility truck could look like. Dubbed the Sentiero, it is the brainchild of Dragos Prodan, a student designer from Romania.

The concept would be powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel pumping out around 250bhp.
