Hex keys can easily...

Hex keys can easily be lost in a toolbox ๒€“ so Laser has come up with a novel way of keeping them together. The latest set not only folds down into a neat multi-tool-sized package, but it also includes a ratchet wrench.

The heavyweight metal tool has a quality feel, without sharp edges, and the rubber padding is well placed and supple, helping grip.

But we thought the unfolding action could have been more positive, plus there๒€™s no locking mechanism when open.

The smaller tools were a bit short, too, although the larger ones were fine, and the casing could be detached. This gave easy access to the smaller tools, and the ratchet ๒€“ which worked well ๒€“ could be swapped around for use with both sets.

Great for occasional jobs, but frequent users might prefer something a little more manageable.
