R you ready for the fastest MPV ever? Mercedes is unveiling an AMG version of its R-Class at March"s Geneva Motor Show. The R63 AMG uses the same storming 6.3-litre V8 as the CLK 63 AMG and CLS 63 AMG, which will also be at the Swiss event. With a huge 510bhp on tap, the unit should be able to propel the 4WD six-seater from 0-60mph in less than six seconds.

The cost is í‚á£1,250. Meanwhile, there"s a new entry-level diesel X3. The 2.0d will be available from October in two trims, standard (í‚á£26,175) and SE (cost to be announced). A 3.0 model arrives next year.
