In a tribute to the highly successful Gordini racing cars from the fifties and sixties, the hot-hatch is finished in Malta Blue with two off-centre white racing stripes running from the bonnet to the boot lid.

Due in 2008, the new Fabia - currently the firm"s most popular model - is likely to gain the Roomster"s large, feline headlights and multi-slat grille with chrome surround. The overall look is more rounded than on the current model, which was introduced in 1999.

Custom car builder Ronn...

Custom car builder Ronn Maxwell claims this is the worldò€™s first environmentally friendly exotic car -- it has an special engine that includes an onboard converter that turns water into hydrogen and injects it with petrol into a 3.5-litre Honda V-6. Called the H2Go the engine is the first of its type and attracted serious attention at this year"s event. Maxwell claims the car will reach 200 mph and have a fuel consumption of 50 mpg. (40mpg US)

LEXUS will not abandon...

LEXUS will not abandon the development of its carbon fibre bodied LF-A supercar, it has been announced, despite news that rival Honda has mothballed its programme to build a successor to the NSX.

The news was announced as parent firm Toyota also confirmed its commitment to the Formula One World Championship. Itò€™s thought that a small number of LF-A models will be built this year, primarily to take part in various racing championships around the world.
