Organisers of the July...
Organisers of the July event in London have revealed they"ve been in negotiations with Nanjing Automobile, the Chinese firm that bought the remnants of the Birmingham set-up. And their plan is to get "some sort of presence" at the expo. A show spokesman told us: "We suggested Nanjing have a stand or sketches of a future model, but it didn"t want to do that."
Now on the table is a plan to create an MG Rover Lounge, where enthusiasts could meet, surrounded by memorabilia. "It would ensure neither brand is forgotten. We are waiting to hear from Nanjing," said the spokesman.
