The seven-seater comes with air-con, 18-inch alloys and sat-nav. Meanwhile, the Equippe variant is í‚á£2,200 cheaper at í‚á£22,999. It also has air-con and alloy rims.

Owners of models built between February 2004 and March 2005 could find the safety device doesn"t deploy quickly enough in an accident. But a spokeswoman stressed: "There have been no reported cases of this yet." She said the vehicles were "still safe to drive", but admitted the firm had written to customers.
