Parent company DaimlerChrysler...
Parent company DaimlerChrysler has found that a locking ring within the steering system has not been attached properly, which could result in it failing. However, Smart claims it has contacted all the owners of affected vehicles, and is also keen to stress that no injuries or accidents have occurred as a result of the safety issue.
