While left-hand-drive versions will benefit from the introduction of the acclaimed 2.7-litre V6 diesel engine used by the Jaguar S-Type, customers in the UK will miss out. A Peugeot spokesman told Auto Express: "As 607 volumes in this country are so small, the company has decided not to develop the V6 diesel unit for right-hand-drive models."

Royle Motors has opened...

Royle Motors has opened in the Speke area of Liverpool, not far from the Aigburth district where the actor hails from. It offers MoTs and repairs, and has joined the Good Garage Scheme, which has more than 1,700 members nationwide.

The enterprise is a partnership between Tomlinson and Harry Walsh, a trained mechanic who’s been a close pal since the two met in Liverpool more than 30 years ago.

“We believe it’s really important to raise the reputation of garages like ours, and show that we adhere to strict customer service guidelines,” Tomlinson explained.
