The Nismo 370Z isn"t the only new Nissan that"s hotting up! Auto Express spies have also learned that a stunning new÷  GT-R is also being readied fort launch that should prove once and for all that the Japanese firm has joined the elite supercar club!

The flagship V-Spec model will be revealed early in the new year - possibly at the Chicago Motor Show. With an extra 5bhp, its tuned engine will develop a breathtaking 478bhp, while liberal use of carbon fibre drops the kerbweight to 1,650kg.

It will get carbon ceramic brakes, 20-inch alloys, Bilstein electronic dampers and super-sticky Dunlop tyres. The GT-R V-Spec is set to have a price tag of around ÷£80,000.
