The boxy shape, round...
The boxy shape, round headlamps and utilitarian feel are all reminiscent of the original Bronco from the Sixties, which was one of the first off-roaders to ignite America"s SUV passion. The look is brought up to date with LED lights and bespoke 18-inch alloy wheels. And with the rear part of the roof being removable, it also offers open-air mud-plugging.
The pair have re-signed...
The pair have re-signed for 2008 after being heaped with praise by team boss Nick Fry for the way they have coped with the awful RA107 car. But once again, they had a disappointing race. Button crashed early on and Barrichello finished 11th.
However, Fry claimed: “They are a great example to young drivers out there looking at how to act in difficult circumstances.
“Jenson and Rubens have been a case study in how to work. They have driven to a high standard, have certainly made the very best of the equipment and on some occasions they have done much more than we thought possible, which is a great accolade to both of them.”
Button, who will have his sixth season with the squad, added: “For me personally, this year has been very tough. But we are always moving forward and we have started making some positive changes, with the car and within the team.”
And Barrichello, who joined Honda from Ferrari for 2006, said: “Jenson and I work well together, our relationship is very good. We are giving a lot of energy to the team as the team is giving a lot of energy to us. Next year will be a lot better.”
