The quicker vicar, from St Boniface Church in St Budeaux, Plymouth, Devon, has been on many events before, but this is the first time he"s tried out his own handiwork - a Sixties-style Gemini kit car with a 1.6-litre Ford engine.

Rev Low is taking two weeks of annual leave to participate. "I am really looking forward to it. I don"t get to see much motorsport as it"s all on Sundays!" he laughed.
