The four-door Grand Tourer blends Bentley tradition and craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. It is inspired by the Continental Flying Spur of the Fifties, and - just like the 2003 Continental GT - makes the most of the firm"s heritage. We exclusively revealed both machines in issue 695, back in early 2002. Based on the same chassis as its two-door stablemate, the Flying Spur offers a 6.0-litre turbocharged W12 engine, four-wheel drive and air-suspension.

The text describes the new face of the 307 range. It states that sporty models will get a four-bar chrome grille, while mainstream variants feature five black bars on the nose. Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the model is intended to strengthen the 307"s appeal in response to competition from Ford"s Focus, the Volkswagen Golf and Vauxhall"s Astra.

It"s not yet known how many technical improvements have been made underneath, but the engine range is likely to be revised to meet the latest emissions regulations. All variants will go on sale in the UK next year, with an all-new 308 model due in 2008.

This is likely to appear first as the 3008 compact-MPV, which will share parts with Citroen"s next-generation Picasso, spied in last week"s issue.
