The wraps are almost off of BMW"s all-new 5-Series hatchback! Called the Gran Turismo, the new model has been spied testing here in Germany almost completely undisguised for the first time.

Looking pretty much identical to the concept, the new model gets a coupe-like rear roofline which features a hatchback tailgate. inside the Gran Turismo boasts more room for passengers than a regular 5-Series and together with a bigger, more flexible boot, it"ll offer an amazing level of practicality.

The first model to come from the new 5-Series line-up, the PAS gets a front end that shares much with the CS concept car while underneath lies a fresh rear-wheel drive platform. Sales will start in October with a price range kicking off at ÷£40,000.
