Voice recognition can be a difficult art to master, usually requiring time-consuming training to work correctly. However, with the Parrot Minikit Slim hands-free kit you can speak easy, as it is claimed to identify nearly all commands straight out of the box.
Twin-spoke alloys and...
Twin-spoke alloys and quadruple exhausts identify the hot new model, which insiders say could use the same 343bhp 3.2-litre straight-six engine as the current M3. It would give the much smaller Z4 Coup탩 stunning perform-ance and a five-second 0-60mph time.
The black car seen here has had its roof disguised to make it look more like the Z4 cabrio, but the engineers aren"t fooling anyone. And judging by the minimal black tape round the front bumper, the hard-top could be getting a nose job. That would help improve air cooling to the bigger engine. Note also the boot spoiler, which will help generate downforce to keep the model on the road.
When sales begin next summer, the entry-level Z4 Coup탩 will use the firm"s 261bhp 3.0-litre engine and cost from í‚á£34,000. A sportier M variant will fill the void left by the controversially styled M Coup탩. It was never available in standard guise, only as one of the BMW motorsport division"s products. Our shots also provide a glimpse of the production car"s interior, which will be more practical than the show star"s luxury cabin.
However, the Frankfurt version"s big talking point - its matt paint finish - could make production. BMW already offers this as an option on motorcycle frames, and is waiting to gauge public reaction before committing to its use in the four-wheeled line-up. The dulled colour would certainly be popular with drivers who don"t like polishing!
