Motorists in Harrogate, N Yorks, have been told by the local council their good manners are causing chaos on Skipton Road - the town"s busiest route. A spokesman said: "Courteous drivers are letting too many vehicles filter in from side roads, and this severely affects traffic flow."

Vauxhall"s new Corsa...

Vauxhall"s new Corsa will be unveiled for the first time, and Land Rover will take the wraps off its Freelander. Having made the decision to relocate to the capital next year, organisers are set to be rewarded with a great event. After missing out for so long on new models, the switch to ExCeL in Docklands in July seems to have done the trick.

The Corsa is one of the UK"s top-selling superminis, and its debut is a major coup for show organiser the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. A spokesman said: "We want proper world premieres that people will want to see. We"re hopeful there will be more than this."

That means both MINI and Rolls-Royce will also appear, and the German firm is set to surprise visitors with an exciting display. Jim O"Donnell, managing director of BMW UK, added: "We have something in mind that wouldn"t ordinarily have a show launch."
