When the motor show...

When the motor show comes to town, Detroit really starts to live up to its Motor City nickname. Ford is naturally big news at the US expo, and this year’s press conference was just as spectacular as ever.

In what has become an annual event in its own right, the firm took over the Cobo Arena which is attached to the main halls at the Detroit Motor Show.

Highlights from this year’s 40 minute conference included the presentation of Ford’s new SUV concept, the Explorer, the reveal of the new F-150 pick-up, the arrival of the Verve concepts in the USA and some stunt driving in the latest Mustang models.
