You’ve seen the toy – now check out the real thing! Last week Auto Express brought you exclusive images of the new Citroen C4 Picasso as a scale model, but these are the first official images of the real thing.

As predicted the compact MPV will wear the Picasso badge – and feature an extra tall windscreen. That promises an airy cabin although there’s plenty more of interest inside the spacious seven-seater.

Clever features include the centrally positioned digital instruments, four-zone air conditioning and fold flat seating.

For full details of what’s in store when the newcomer hits showrooms later this year, pick up next week’s Issue of Auto Express (on sale 9 Aug). It will include more information about the trio of engines on offer, its brand new gearbox and a variety of special interior innovations.
