now you really can make...

now you really can make hands-free phone calls without lifting a finger! The new Bury Technologies CV9040 set-up can be operated solely by speech.

With its advanced voice recognition, it claims to recognise 95 per cent of all verbal instructions ò€“ no matter how quickly you speak or complicated the command. If you are likely to use difficult words or names, voice tags can be assigned. And it can even switch between English, German, French and Dutch.

Thereò€™s a touchscreen for drivers who prefer not to use voice activation, and the unit toggles between day and night modes automatically. Also, however you position it, the display stays the right way up.

Up to 10 headsets can be paired with the device, and it will allow swapping and holding of calls, plus conferencing for up to seven people. It stores around 15,000 contacts and 100 SMS messages, which can be read aloud. Also included in the pack are dash and sun visor mounts, plus car and home chargers.
